A fictional apartment hidden behind the waterfall of Bad Gastein unfolds as a poetic space between architecture, art, and imagination. A collection of objects, furniture and artworks creates the atmosphere of an imagined inhabitant and invites visitors into a world beyond.

The Hotel Astoria is annually activated as a venue for contemporary art during Sommer.Frische.Kunst, curated by Andrea von Goetz.
