A PARADISE
The first chapter of BUILDING PARADISE is dedicated to the volcanic island of Lanzarote – an archaic terrain of black earth, white architecture, and the lingering presence of César Manrique. Between clustered structures, wind and stone, Fabian Freytag traces the outlines of a design-driven idea: How does a barren landscape become paradise?
The book is part analysis, part travelogue, part vision. The exhibition transforms found objects into art, fragments into narrative – and presents an exclusive edition of the Milano Table Lamp in glazed lava finish, limited to 16 pieces.

A TREASURE BOX
In A TREASURE BOX, the gallery becomes the imagined universe of a fictional antiques dealer. A staged interior curated from the private collection of Fabian Freytag — part mystery, part memory, part mise-en-scène.
This is no clean white cube. It’s a space filled with strange elegance and curated chaos: rare finds, eccentric lights, aged surfaces, forgotten furniture. Each piece feels like a clue to a larger story — one that’s never fully told.

BIKES, BILLS & MILANO
BILLS, BIKES & MILANO presents a new series of photographic works by Fabian Freytag, captured during Milan Design Week 2023. The series, titled MEGABILLS, turns receipts into relics: crumpled bills — blown up.
At the heart of the show is also a collaboration with TYPE BIKE: a custom-designed bicycle inspired by the elegance of the Mercedes SL. Good new times.

A BAR
Originally presented at ALCOVA during Milan Design Week 2023, BAR FOURAGE transforms the gallery into a sparkling set piece somewhere between nostalgia and excess. Inspired by bar interiors of the 1970s, the installation brings together a custom-designed counter, the sculptural COCKTAIL chairs, and playful MARTINI side tables — a tribute to glamour, evening rituals, and the beauty of too much.
Layered with silver confetti, vintage collectibles, and a whisper of Italo disco, BAR FOURAGE is not a bar in the literal sense, but a fantasy space — a stage for conversation, gestures, and glass rings.

A DINING ROOM
The inaugural exhibition at the FABIAN FREYTAG GALLERY stages a fictional dining room — a mysterious interior where art, design, and storytelling converge. It features works by Fabian Freytag created between 2011 and today, framed within a scenography that feels both intimate and theatrical.
With its bold graphic structure, the space evokes the expressive geometry of Art Deco interiors. At the same time, it nods to Freytag’s early career as a set designer — where rooms are not just backdrops, but active narrators. THE DINING ROOM is a reminder that spaces tell the stories we give them — and that every detail holds the potential to become part of the plot.
